Singles and Slabs FAQ

Raw Singles

Single cards for the following categories are assumed Near Mint (NM) or better unless otherwise stated: ARs (Art Rares), Modern Hits (SARs, SRs, etc.), Modern Promos (Promotional Cards). The photos used for these cards may not be the actual card sent to you, but will be of similar or better quality. If the condition is not NM we will write it in the title and it will have its own separate product or separate dropdown menu, for more expensive cards we may also use the exact photos of the card.

For NM cards, our minimum qualification means the following: The cards may have very small scratches and scuffs on the edges and surfaces, some minor white chipping, and slight dullness, making it not immediately obvious that it is not in perfectly mint condition. Card may also have no imperfections at all.

Single cards for the High-end Vintage category are priced according to the condition of the exact card shown in the photos, so please read the descriptions and look at the photos carefully, as we would like to remind customers that all sales for TCG products are FINAL SALE.

Single cards for our other cheaper Vintage categories are priced according to the stated condition of the cards. The photos used for these cards may not be the actual card sent to you, but will be of similar or better quality. Please see below for our conditions guide as we would like to remind customers that all sales for TCG products are FINAL SALE.

Singles Card Conditions Guide

NM (Near Mint) Condition

The card may have a few very small scratches or scuffs on the edges or surface, small white chips, and slight dullness. Card may also have no imperfections at all. This condition is considered generally acceptable to most people for collecting well-conditioned cards, but may not grade a PSA 10 or 9. Please be mindful if you are looking to collect cards for grading and review both the photos and descriptions carefully.

LP (Lightly Played) Condition

The card may have some scratches, scuffs, tarnish, and small dents on the edges and surface. Please note that due to the wide variety of scratches, some cards may appear to be in worse condition than expected, while others may appear to be in surprisingly good condition with inconspicuous scratches. All of these are considered to be inconspicuous by our standards and are categorized as LP Condition. These cards are good binder cards, but typically will not grade highly.

MP (Moderately Played) Condition Cards

The card may have scratches all over, large scratches in some areas, scuffs, creases, dents, slight water damage, slight peeling, etc. These cards are decent binder cards, but typically will not be worth grading.

HP – DMG (Heavily Played – Damaged) Condition Cards

The card may have very large scratches, scuffs, dirt, creases, dents, tears, peeling, water damage, etc. Depending on the product, scratches may be immediately noticeable even when inside a sleeve, so please be careful when purchasing with the intention of collecting

We do our best to be fair with grading our cards, but differing opinions and human error can happen. Please contact us if you have any concerns, ideally before a purchase is made so we can help you to the best of our abilities!

Slabs

Our Slabs are all graded by 3rd party companies such as PSA, BGS, and CGC (grading companies). These companies grade cards on their own scale, and we are only responsible for providing authentic slabs and not responsible for grading the card itself. If you disagree with the grade a grading company gives, please understand that it is not our responsibility. Please make sure to review both the photos and descriptions carefully, as all our slabs are exactly the ones you will receive, including the certification number. Any minor scratches on the slab itself will not be considered grounds for refunds or returns.
